Bluepoint proved its worth with the Demon's Souls remake, and one can only hope that Sony tasks it with rejuvenating Bloodborne sooner rather than later. However, Bloodborne has the scope to become a lot prettier, especially in the hands of a talented studio. While Bloodborne does seem a tad washed out compared to other Souls games, it fits the Victorian era aesthetic perfectly. In the Central Yharnam scenes, for example, the fires are much brighter than the original, and the puddles are more reflective. It involved a fair bit of video editing and some AI trickery, along with upscaling the footage to 8K to get the best results. It does, however, paint an excellent picture of what Bloodborne could look like on a modern-day PC/console.ĮlAnalistaDeBits use several tricks to spruce up Bloodborne. Unfortunately, bossfights are not included, but that is understandable, given the complexity of remastering Bloodborne's notoriously aggressive bosses. The video explores several ironic locations in Bloodborne, such as Central Yharnam, The Nightmare Frontier, The Forbidden Woods, Hemwick Charnel Lake, Painhurst Castle and the Hunter's Dream. Meanwhile, YouTube content creator ElAnalistaDeBits took it upon themself to draw up a remastered version of Bloodborne from scratch. Japan Studio's separation with Sony will make matters worse, as it played an integral role in developing Bloodborne with FromSoftware. The prospect of a Bloodborne PC port/remaster ever being released seems grim, even though it has been echoed by multiple industry insiders.
